It’s Women in Construction Week, so it's time to spotlight the remarkable contributions of women in an industry traditionally dominated by men. At Apollo, we are immensely proud to celebrate the strength, skill, and resilience of our retail women who have left their mark in the interior retail construction landscape.
For several years, our women have played an integral role in helping our retail merchandising projects succeed. They’ve broken barriers and shattered stereotypes along the way. From erecting steel racking to spearheading merchandising efforts, from breathing life into new stores to orchestrating meticulous remodels, our women have been the driving force behind Apollo Retail Specialists success. Let’s spotlight a few women who have demonstrated time and time again that this industry knows no gender!
Joanne Savicki
Joanne has been a Team Lead with Apollo Retail Specialists for 9 years. She’s certified to run a fork lift and scissor lift. She’s worked on top retail projects such as Dollar General, Office Depot, Orchard Supply, Staples, and REI to name a few. She’s also trained as a Cosmetics lead.
Tammy Estes
Tammy works in our Channel Services division working with top retailers such as Walmart, Lowes, Sam’s Club, Ace Hardware, Ikea, Sally’s Beauty supply and more. She’s been with the company for 19 years and we’re so proud to have her as part of our family!
Patsy Fernandez
Our merchandiser Patsy hails from Las Vegas, NV and has been with the company since 2021. Although she’s only been with
us for three years, Patsy plays an integral role in getting projects done one time and within compliance for our Channel Services division.
Savannah Cox
Savannah came to us at the end of 2020, and has helped execute projects for our Channel Services division. She receives praise from upper management on how well she performs in the field.
Jennifer Maldonado
Jennifer is another rock star that came to us in 2019. She’s been praised for her work in our Channel Services division as well and resides in Texas when she’s not working on capital projects.
Vicki Pilkington
Vicki is another amazing female merchandiser in our Channel services team who came to us in 2019. Vicki’s worked on REI, Thorntons, Staples, to name a few. She just became OSHA-10 certified in 2013 and can drive a forklift & scissorlift.
As we commemorate Women in Construction Week, we want to thank these women who have played an instrumental role in shaping the landscape of retail build outs.
At Apollo, we remain committed to fostering an inclusive and empowering environment where women thrive, break boundaries, and redefine what it means to be a force in retail merchandising. As we look towards the future, we stand united in our mission to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, empowering women to soar to greater heights and leave their mark in our industry.
